Competency aims

The aim of the course is to prepare the student for a role as an industrial manager. The course forms a foundation for upcoming more specialized courses, such as Product Development, Industrial Marketing & Pricing and Investments.

Learning outcomes

Having completed the course, the student is expected to:
- describe types of companies and their structures
- calculate and evaluate measurments for company profitability
- describe and apply methods for business-to-business marketing
- describe and evaluate methods for industrial production
- evaluate and select investment projects
