Learning outcomes

to be able to demonstrate detailed understanding of the
influences culture has on communication in an international
context
to be able to communicate effectively in encounters between
people from diverse cultural backgrounds by being e.g. ready to
shift frames of reference.

Course contents

All behavior is communicating, and we cannot not communicate.
A person communicates in great part by nonverbal
communications, such as gestures, facial expressions, tone of
voice, dress, body language, rituals. Most of our behavior is
unconscious, and therefore we communicate unconsciously
throughout the day.
