Competency aims

The objective of the course is to deepen the skills and knowledge gained in the course "Finance" as well as give new knowledge regarding investment instruments.

Learning outcomes

The student will be able to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the financial markets and the theories applicable. In particular, the student will be able to quantify risks and their effect on expected returns. The student can demonstrate a basic knowledge of the instruments available on the financial markets (e.g. shares, bonds, derivatives). The student has a basic understanding of portfolio theory
