Competency aims

The objectives of this course are to give an understanding of the basics of financial accounting and financial statement analysis.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course students should understand the financial accounting cycle and, be able to draw up a simple income statement, balance sheet and a cash flow statement, as well as analyse and interpret accounting data.
