Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student can
import and export process, documentation as
well international customs procedures and to
understand different technical solutions in the transport business.
Learning outcomes
After a completed course, students can search
for information needed to issue the right documents that a commodity needs to imported/exported. Students can
interpret rules that apply on international
freight forwarding and understand the information, capital and material flow in freight forwarding. In addition, students learn to write instructions for freight forwarding and customs clearance and comprehend information systems with focus Dynamic Routes and profitability estimates for transports.

Other subjects within freight forwarding and
customs.
At the end of the course the student is
expected
to be able to comprehend information systems
with focus on Production Order Management,
Warehouse Management, Dynamic Routes and
profitability estimates for transports.
We will plan transports in an ERP system that
is specifically for logistics companies. Using
the system allows us to efficiently plan routes
and calculate the profitability of transports.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Introduction in Logistics or equivalent knowledge.
