Competency aims

The aim of the course is to give an overview of
the main principles in marketing in a travel
and tourism context. Current trends in digital
marketing are also covered.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
to be able to
- explain the special characteristics of
marketing of travel and tourism
- understand the marketing mix in travel and
- analyze options for digital marketing
- review and discuss the role of social media
in marketing
- explore the impacts of the sharing economy
