Competency aims

The aim of the course is that the student will
learn to be critical in his/her argumentation and
that he/she can evaluate the information that is
available.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to
-build a network within his/her own student
community at Arcada Business School
-communicate with representatives from the
Business Community and perform cases for them

  • find relevant information from the enormous
    information flow that exists today and to
    evaluate the reference
  • present the results for different groups
    according to the situation
  • understand that the environment has great
    impact on us and understand that we are part of
    the global economy with its fast information flow
  • understand that tomorrows challenges and
    possibilities are in sustainable business and
    technical progress

Course contents

The course consists of an introduction in September
and a filed trip to Stockholm (3 days). Further the
course will have lectures and workshops throughout
the year.
